ummm yah bad blogger...i made it back
from toronto!! ohhhhhh sooo nice to finally
meet amberley and stacy IN PERSON!!
yah...did isay IN PERSON??? it was like
we always hung out lol...in a way we do!
we actaully got some scrapping done!
how cool was that tho to SCRAP with them
like that!!maybe someday next year

we can have a good day of scrapping just

the three of us ....some good tunes...beers...

yada....rock out the funk pages big time!

the crop was pretty cool too! i got a lil davis

bag for being the one that traveled the

farthest to get there...that was cool...

here. we are all sick with head colds...today i

it's been a slow sick weekend around here..
today is nice and the kids are gone for the day.

i think this week we start gettin homework
for ky to do. oh i got a free find of 2 school

kyles first day of school!

GASP! wow what a morning! ky has had so many

firsts in his life but today was totally different!!

i am soooo proud of my boy! he is the best! aww..

we had a great morning getting ready. got tons of

pics and video! we followed the bus to the school

and got to watch them put their sneakers on and

taken to their classroom. (madison and kyle)

i can't wait to hear about his day tho!! i am looking

forward to that!

i am doing good. i haven't cried...emmas just mopin

around all sad tho. i am kinda lost too. this is such a

big change! wow! he's ready and i am sure it will all

be good.

AHHH...it's monday!

ahhh how was everyones weekend?
mine was pretty good..busy! i got lots
of yard work done again and some things
put away for winter...weeded..sprayed
the driveway down etc etc...not sure if
i will ever get the veranda and sunporch
painted or what! hope so!

i had lots of company coming and goin
over the weekend. i learned im quiet the
makeup artist as well. i did 2 of my friends
make up and one of them i did her hair.
i don't usually do that. it was fun tho! thier
face was my canvas and i made master pieces
lol...it was late and crazy when they left and
i never did get pics!!!! grrrrrr...

yikes! 2 more sleeps and my boy is gonna
be off to school!!!! helloooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!
melissa and i are gonna follow the school bus
to school the first day lol...her girl madison
is best friends with ky and they are in the
same class! i have to label all his stuff and
make him a student ID for his backpack.
i'm happy and sad at the same time. *sigh*

ah what a blast i had last night! my friend
melissa and i went out last night to the pub
and then on to the bar. i hadn't gone out like
that in probly 3 years!!! it was so much fun..
i needed a good night out to just let loose like
that! i'm slightly hung over today tho but it
was worth it lol...

it's been a great weekend all around really...
tomorrow i gotta get some house junk done
tho! yikes!

i was reading a post on a site of peeps fave
songs...and this song i have up for video
("juicy" by Better than Ezra) was a girls
fave and i had to check it out and now i must
say i'm hooked lol it is soo catchy and the video
is just too funny! i love that woman leading the
dance..she cracks me right up! NOTE: and no
girls this is NOT how i was dancin last night lol...
you know who i'm talkin too! ;-P

oh and i have another woman that wants me to
shoot her sons grad pics too! yeah! this is gonna
be fun!

yikes!! i have been a bad blogger too! now that camp is
over things will slow down again and i can try to get back
to posting agian...

yeah it's MONDAY!! today it is nothing but rain! so it is
an indoor day around here! i think instead of sayin "i gotta do that"
today i WILL do that!! and "that" is revamping my scrap desk!
crud it hasn't had any organization really since i first set up after
the move..and yas know what that is like...and now with all these
paints and junk i need to actually set things up a bit different.
*shudder* i actually have LAUNDRY folded on my desk!!! and those
that know me know i'm martha when it comes to my desk! lol...ah
well...i'll fix it!

k i really did start this post this morning until i got side tracked and had to go
out! lol...
so yesturday we went to the animal farm agian...fun fun! the kids all love it there!
it's rather sad as the couple that runs this place are getting old and can't really
do it anymore so they are closing it. sad eh? so that was our unexpected day trip yesturday.

today has zipped by as well! where is the time going...crud i haven't even got to get back
to scraping the veranda in the last 2 days! yikes! ah well it's not going anywhere! lol

i got this pic yesturday of my sister - i totally love love it! i put the urbanacid action on it in PS and
love the result! i threw it into a digi page for her cause i couldn't wait to scrap it! it's nothing fancy but
cute for now.

ahhhh it's monday!

oh how i love mondays! freash start to a new week!
what will i do this week? hmmm...it's been great weather
with no humidity so i have been getting some scraping done
to the veranda. yikes what a job that is..it's fun tho i really
don't mind scraping..i just want to have it done NOW lol
we still have family visiting this week so i'm sure there are
more kid days of playin too!

this weekend was rather slow...it was nice tho...had a busy week
and it was nice to have a slow weekend. i did some yard junk tho
and its lookin good. k just don't look at the flower bed yet lol.

well it looks as tho ky wants to have his party at the park. thats cool
with me. we can do pizza and a DQ ice cream cake. mmmm that
does sound good...no mess here and they can play at the park and
the splash pad. wow my baby is gonna be 5!!! gasp!
we have a concert that night here in town as well...CCR and a couple
other bands are coming.

fun fun!

wow talk about a busy week! lots of fun events around here!
i ended up takin the kids to the fair tuesday night! they had
a blast! ok so i had a blast too!! i got on that FREAK OUT ride!
man that was a trip and a half! loved it!! i even dared to take
video as i was on it- course its all spining clips and me screaming
like a little school girl! lol

wednesday we went down to the lake and played their all day!
went out on the boat and lounged around in a big island party floaty
gig...i got a "little" sun burnt ...yikes...bad me! we had a nice big
BBQ there as well...my brother and family are up and it was nice
havin the family together with all the kids playin.

yesturday emma and i hung out with mom for the afternoon and
we all went down to my sisters for another big family BBQ! mmm
it was all good! emma got to go spend the night at nanas after...ky came
back home with me from stayin with em. they have had a busy week!

and now its back to another TGIF .....tomorrow the kids are going to nanas
for the night tenting again. ahhh what to do with myself....hmm... definitly
in need of some yard work! yack...i really do need to do that flower bed i've
been whining about...it's just been soooo dang hot this summer i haven't
felt like sweatin like a pig and being in the heat..wahhaaa i know! lol...
maybe i can tackle some challenges i made.....hmm....need a good scrappy
drunk that's for sure! ;-)

wow! where has the summer gone? it's been a hot one for sure this year!
i am actually now looking forward to fall...no humidity and that crisp
air ..mmm....the change over for a winter hybernation..i swear i am a
bear in the winter lol...really tho...everyone is so busy in the summer
and i am really missing all the girls on here and scrappin together nightly!
it is soooo hard to get back in! you know what...i so need a flippin tape runner!
that's half my problem....right now im down to those dang double sided
squares....i mean really who wants to sit and pick those things off..it slows
me down and i hate it! ...k there is my vent! lol..ahhh

old home week....our yearly gig here....the cambell amusements come and have
the rides and junk....the exibitions etc...tomorrow is bracelet day and i want
to take the kids up.i'm a ride freak myself!! our main park is right accross the
road too with the water splash pad gig....so they will have lots of fun!!

PRISON BREAK

LAJDFASDFJSDFJSA woohooo!!!! i'm soooo excited!!
our boy mike is back august 21st with season 2 of PRISON BREAK!
*pulse* so yah we get to see how it goes on the escape and junk!

awwww.....so the kids were over to madisons playing...they came
back here and played for awhile....it was time for mine to come
in and get ready for bed....and madison is like "ok can you walk
me home then kyle?" ...awwww lol...so hes like to me all macho.."k i'm
gonna walk madison home and be right back k mom?" im like "sure
go ahead...come right back" .......so i had to go grab the camera...
they were holding hands of course walkin over....i didnt get good
shots tho but it was too dang cute! emma was upset she couldnt go
but i told her it was late and its nice when the boy can walk the girl
home to make sure she gets home safe. i gotta get some pics of them.
this is his first ever real friend that actually lives a couple doors away
type thing...well they are all friends but ky and her will be starting
school and in the same class even soon.

got a pad of REAL watercolor paper!! wicked! and lots of awsome
brushes and some good paint! yeah! what a sweetie! thanks hon - ya

hey peeps! slap me silly please! bad blogger i am not posting
daily! mara see your rubbin off dear! lol...

so i have been kinda under the weather the last couple days. today
i woke much better tho. must been a 24 hour flu thing. like really i don't
have time to be sick! *rollin eyes*

mmm lets see..oh my baby girl is now in her big girl bed!! yeah!
(not sure if i posted that) she's doing great..of course she IS my
girl! still doing great on the using the flush as well. i'm so very
proud!

ky...he is growing like a weed man! he has matured even in the last
few months a ton. he is soooo excited to start school! there is a
girl next door that will be in his class..her name is madison..she
is a cutie let me tell ya! so they can go to school together. GASP!!
where DOES the time go????!?!?!

so papa brought me some painting books last night!! he has a big
stash and is letting me use them to study and learn more on
watercolors and oils etc....i'm PUMPED!!! i also have a surprise RAK
coming from a dear friend that has some painting junk in it and
i'm dyin to know what it is!!! it could be here today! *dizzy with the
rush* can't wait to play!

today i have been busy scraping paint off the veranda...workin on it ALL
morning! still got lots to do tho...it needs some freash paint. i need to
do the sunporch as well and fix the window and all that junk. course
the flower bed is still yelling at me for attention as well! wonder if
chris daughtry is up for hire...hey he COULD sing to me while we worked!
lol...course his wife may not like that...besides i couldn't pay him good lol..
well i "could" but she probly wouldn't go for THAT either! lol...bad girl!

was wicked last night!!! and will's speach!! lol BRUTAL!! it's nice to see
some heat on there!! it was kinda laggin!! lets play the game peeps!!

i would bore some lol...dang he is hot!!! i swear he undresses me with
those eyes lol....no really great show too...yah jill's grinding was a bit much
on ole gilby lol...at first it was ok but then it got trashy....

anyha i must get back to work ....the kids are off with nana so i'm takin advantage
of time on this project.

no fear

oh have i been havin fun with these water colors!
really i reccomend gettin some to play around with!
i was playin around last night and thought hmmm lets
try a portrait. ive never done a portrait before so i
basically just used this pic for a guideline of myself.
well as i was doin it at one point i thought it looked more
like my sister than me! not so much now that i have it done
tho...i cheated and got lazy to fix my right eye so i just
did my hair down over the eye lol...

the back ground is 2 colored washes blended together and
sprinkled with salt and dried and scraped off. my journalling
was too long for the space so i made a pocket from vellum *gasp*
you all remember what vellum is right? lol..yah so i kept it simple
and cut,stapled and inked and added the paisley rub.

the journalling is right from the ole heart ....i actually wrote
this july 11th....i had planned on putting it in my journal but
thought tonight ahhh lets do it on this page i guess. since then i
have started letting it go...but i do still have some fears but don't
we all. such is life eh?

it reads:

fear.thats what i have.
stupid fear!but why?
who really cares?
these are my fears.let it go.let it out.
i'm scared of getting hurt.
i'm scared of the unknown.
i'm scared i will fail.

it's ok. I know my heart and soul.why be scared?

and i got to shop for some junk! got me some
goodie goodie...found some watercolor paints at wallies!
course ya know they didnt stay in the package long!! no no..
mama HAD to crack them babies open ASAP and play!!!
ohhh so excited! course now i need some new water color
brushes...ah well..for now ill use the ones i have.

so i found a cool technique with the wet wash.....ADD SALT!!
and let it dry up like....then brush it off...check out the effect
on the blue paint and some of the flower petals! neat huh?
usin up some old stash...crap the only PP is the scenic route
corner...love this pic of my princess....that face.....

got some pics printed finally today! so maybe now i can
actaully get back to some good ole scrappy drunks peeps!

happy hump day!!

aahhh another hump day! so what are you doing on this hump of
the week? today we are taking the kids to the animal farm. it would
be like our "zoo" i guess you could say for around my area lol....it
has lots of cool animals tho...i'll get lots of pics i'm sure! hopin the
bears are still there too! the kids are excited - ok i am too lol..

so whatchas think of this little msg board deal at the bottom here?
feel free to post a msg there or even some challenges girlies! that would
be fun too eh...i'll be gettin some pics printed tomorrow - yeah! and
i wanna be back to scrappin man! like really!! enough already! lol..

back east

well i am now back home on the east side peeps! amazing trip...
much needed for sure!

it was sooo great to hold my babes again let me tell ya! they were tired
and have had naps....course ky is still crashed hard on the couch...lettin
him sleep to catch up on lost sleep im sure lol...

so it's back to the regular routine again and hope to get back to some
scrap junk!! it's been way too long! got tons of pics i NEED to scrap!

i got some cute pics of emma and i tho while he has been sleeping..she is
such a little peach i tell ya! her voice is seriously that of an angel. ok to my
ears it is lol...here we are ...my little princess...

IT DOESN'T SUCK!!

hey peeps!! i finally got some pics resized today for my blog!
here are some pics from last week in BC...loved it!

these next ones were taken on top of a mountain at 7700 feet...incredible!! we had dinner in the red roofed resturant..amazing!

this is the mountain peek we hiked along......in my flops cause i'm a dork like that

the grizzly bear named BOO did ecaped just days before we were there...awww....

check out this lake!! this is called EMERALD LAKE ....hense the green water...we canoed across it ...was wicked! lol...course it was a RENTED canoe! GASP! like really?!!? who rents canoes lol...back home you either have one or know someone who does that you canoe...but to pay money??? k sure. lol

its been an amazing journey here i tell ya. lots and lots of great memories for sure!
so now to scrap all these great landscape pics!!! lol yikes on me! lol

WOW!!! AND MORE WOW! seriously can't even describe
what it is like here!! we just got back from BC and it is AMAZING!
this small town called Golden...wow! nestled in the rockies!
i'll post more when i'm not so beat but holy wow the rockies kick
ass!! and i was even canoing on GREEN water!!!! green i tell ya!!
(from the glaciers)....totally wicked...got some pics...even did a little
hike in my flops on top of some mountain! crazy! lol

i am all safe and sound peeps! no worries! so meant to post on here
sooner but ah ya know.... lol...sorry!
