today i woke feeling like scrapping!

sometimes

sometimes you go through life thinking
you somewhat have things figured out.
sometimes you make the wrong
choices and sometimes you make right
ones. sometimes you learn and sometimes
you dont. sometimes things just happen
for a reason...to learn and show you the
lesson. i have learned my lessons.

sometimes we go through life wondering
why it is that we have to endure some of
the things we do. we ask ourselves why cant
things just be the way you want in life. well
that my friends is too simple. sometimes
we need to experience some bad to appreciate
the good things. i appreciate the good things.

we go through life with the idea of the perfect
person for us. it is like a dream almost. how
many do we meet and say ok they arent the
one for me? is it really that hard to find
someone that looks for the same things in
life as yourself'?

through the internet i have met several people
and have made great friends over the years.
when you meet people on here sometimes
you just have a good feeling on them and
decide ok lets meet. i took that chance with
someone and let me tell you he is like no
other. he is real and i knew that
from just chatting with him. we had a date..
it was great. he was a perfect gentlemen
and we had so much in common and was
really lookin for the same things in life.
the week passed and we talked every night
and looked forward to the weekend to see
each other again. we had an awsome
weekend together! things are good. i am
very happy! life is good.

snow day

ahhh so school was due back today...

and we had a snow day with it cancelled.

it was a lot of fun tho...we made a snowman

and i got a lovely workout for the day with

shoveling the driveway 2 times! it was nice

tho...i like to shovel really. here is our first

snow man of the winter! he's rather a quiet

one tho with no mouth...lol

hey peeps! well my year has gone off
with a great start!! still feelin like
the spring fever bug has hit me! dork
i know!

funny how you meet people and have
an instant connection of some sort.
maybe i haven't been asking for too
much afterall! lol...we shall see!

so i had a weird dream last night...
i was waiting for a bus or something
to get me to go to this big concert...
and its KILLING me that i can't
remember what concert it was!!!

so glad my girl am got a blog going!
hope she posts lots of pics of her
"boyfriend" mike! only 24 more days
and he's back!!! woohoo!!! course
then we have a week wait for the
new shows! gasp!

ahh yeah the holidays are over...they
were great..had a great time with family..
new years came and it just wasn't the
same...ah well just glad it's all over!

emma had her first friend sleepover
last night! she stayed with a friend
that lives next door at her nannys house.
can't wait to hear all about it!

ahh what will this year bring me?
hope nothing but all good shit! this
past year i learned so much about myself.

for us..i waited it out till now for
christmas...so we had a fun filled
day the 3 of us and played some of
their new games they opened yesturday..

wow! it's almost christmas guys!! yeah!
i am sooo into the spirit this year! crazy!
got some parties over the next couple days..
today is kys christmas party at school...
tonight we are having a family christmas
party get together...tomorrow is our big
christmas dinner with the family and open
gifts....little early this year cause its the
time my brother could come up. so yeah
family time and kids can open some stuff..
that will keep them busy over the weekend
i'm sure lol...

still next to no snow at this point right now.
hope it just holds off till after the new year
with everyone travelling etc...hate bad
weather!

the tree up and all gifts wrapped etc

k where is the time going?
i mean seriously the days
seem to be FLYING by so
bloody fast it's starting to
blur a little lol...
i put in my request to have
more hours added on to the
day OR our bodies only needing
4 and 5 hours of sleep! even
that would be sweet to have that
and be able to feel well rested
and function! seems like every
night i say to myself crud wish
i could rewind back 3 more hours!


it's begining to look more like
christmas around town now with
the snow! yeah! we have NEW
intersection lights in the down
town area! really big for my town!


i have managed to get a tree stand
still need a tree tho! lookin for a
good 8 footer and FULL! i got more
lights for it too this year. can't wait
to decorate!

made some muffins and chocolate
chip cookies yesturday..mmmm.
made a list of cooking junk i want
to get too...page numbers for the
recipes too i'm such a dork!

i have been working on my moms
christmas junk so i haven't wanted
to post the pages on here. i did finish
a thingy i started back in the summer..
well thinking i still need to buff it up
or something tho...

ahhhh...whoops where DID this week go?
guess i've just been busy and haven't got
around to posting on here...had a busy week
watchin my moms pugs ....baking...watchin
season one of nip/tuck...yada yada...

i think too sometimes i have a lot on my
head and i just don't want to share cause
i am so open lol..so i just don't post here lol

a new week starts tomorrow.....love mondays!
i have been on a bakin fixation...got some
new junk to cook with and cookin junk itself...
woohoo...kids are lovin it too! ;-)

yes i watched nip/tuck season one over the
last few days...crud that show rocks..and
still does even the second time around!
i have a few friends that want to get into
it too...yeah! still don't know when it is
to air for us canucks yet tho!! *tres bitter*

ahh got some news last night! my
sister-in-law is gonna have a baby
again! this will be #3 for my
brother!! yeah!! ;-)

haven't started christmas stuff yet...
coming soon tho...gotta make my list!
yes thats right! plan is to get the tree
up tho this coming weekend! woohoo!

manic monday

oh dear! mamas not doin so well...i have
a cold and breathing issues! maybe the
docs were right when they said i have
asthma when i was early teens! well
it went away over the years but i have
found that i get this least once in winter ...
maybe the change over or something?
sooooooooooooooo i think i should quit
the smoking and smartin up already eh!
*eek* a few winters ago i even came
down with a lung infection and you
would THINK that would MAKE me
realize! but i guess one can't give it up
till they are ready. i think i am gettin
there tho. it's terrible..i can't be like
this. even my son got off my lap from
snuggling yesturday and said,
"k mom i'm gettin down...you don't sound
very good" seeing his concerned somewhat
scared look on his face touched me like
no other.
*gasp*

if that wasn't enough to deal with i am also
having drain/sewer issues as well. waiting
on the plumber
for that one. eekkk!!

got a busy week here in the household
with moms 2 pugs!and covering for her
with her work phone as well. so umm
yah mama needs to breathe good to get
through this busy week! lol well least i still
have my humor!

and they are sweet! my big boy!

on the weekend we had our towns
festival of lights and fireworks! fun fun!
it was soooo mild too at 17C!!! that was
nice and the kids weren't all cold and junk..
i want to get the tree up by months end.
yeah!! soooo excited for that! we made
our gingerbread house too and that was
a blast!
